Loonatik Apparel
Loonatik Apparel is a case study on lifestyle and clothing brands. It is based around the Minnesota lifestyle and the Common Loon. Minnesota has a fairly interesting fashion scene as a lot of it is heavily influenced by vintage clothing and thrifting. Outerwear also has a huge influence here due to the amount of outdoor recreational activities.
The Loonatik Icon was heavily inspired by brands that utilize simple shapes and silhouettes as their icons. The loons natural habitat also had an influence on the wordmark. The ripple effects in the ‘O’s are to represent the lakes that Loons are most commonly found.
